--------------------TUNES IN TWO CITIES--------------------
Ann has a lung disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. It's a little known condition (by the public and also many of the medical profession) which progressively scars the lung tissues reducing the body's ability to absorb oxygen. It is an incurable, terminal disease with a short prognosis which affects sizeable numbers of people around the world with over 35k in the UK, 5k new diagnoses every year i.e. as common as Leukemia but nothing like as well known or funded.
In October 2017, Mulholland organised two benefit gigs in York & Hull to raise funds and awareness - Tunes In Two Cities. Both concerts had great musicians from the two cities playing and were very special and enjoyable nights. The total raised was over £2k which was split between two charities that help to support suffers and provide funding for research into the disease - Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis and The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust.
Mulholland has set up a JustGiving page to raise additional money to further support research into the disease (link is above) and we would be grateful if you could add to the total already raised (£1,000 as of October 2017).
Many thanks, Ann & Stan
