So after a short break while Ann had her op (went well) we're back with lots of gigs and things lined up. The new album is getting lots of radio plays and the video for Black Feathers lots of favourable feedback which is great to hear. The second of the videos we made with the good folks at Pear Tree Studios is released on the 25th of this month, another track from the album - My Wasted Heart. (you can view the first of the videos Cold Wind here)
This Friday we're over Hull way at the Springhead in Anlaby where we'll be opening up the night for our good buddies The Quicksilver Kings. Then the following Sunday we may pop over to Knaresborough for the open mic at the Orange Grove prior to our monthly gig there at the end of the month. This time we have the brilliant duo Randall Munroe joining us for the Live Lounge.
Bank Holiday Weekend The Live Lounge night will be the start of a very busy (and enjoyable) long weekend of fab gigs. On the Saturday we're playing the Filey Folk Festival at the Station, helping to finish off the day with our set prior to the headliner Boss Caine. Then on the bank holiday Monday we're playing in the afternoon at the New Ebor Street Feast Festival at the York Railway Institute. And that evening we head over to the Crescent where we open up for CALE TYSON!! Yep, Cale's back in York, this time with his band and his new five star album Careless Soul. Going to be a cracking night, we'll be joining Boss Caine again on the bill. Get your tickets now.
